About us

The International Master in Economics of Culture: Policy, Government and Management (MaEC) was born in 2008. It is organized by the Department of Management and Law, School of Economics, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

MaEC puts emphasis on strategic management  tools for the promotion of local cultural resources necessary to create conditions for economic development in international contexts.

MaEC offers a blended course based on transmission of knowledge and experience targeted at a new social, economic and cultural context.

MaEC’s aim is to contribute an innovative model of higher education, leveraging on the best academic traditions yet providing a fresh approach in the faculty with our learning methodologies and program content. Culture as one of the major contributors to economic development, job creation and social cohesion, is the vision that has inspired the MaEC program since its first edition.

Faculty members are professors, researchers, lectures expert in their respective field of specialization or professionals with a wide experiences in the private or public cultural sector.
